Capturing natural moments with toddlers is always an adventure — and that’s exactly why outdoor family sessions are so special. Based in the heart of Witney, I’m lucky to be surrounded by some of the most scenic locations in Oxfordshire, ideal for relaxed, playful photo shoots that bring out genuine smiles.

Toddlers were made to move — and outdoors, they can! Whether it’s a local park, woodland trail, or a quiet field just outside town, children feel more at ease when they aren’t restricted. I keep sessions fun and child-led, letting your little one explore, play, and just be themselves. That’s when the magic happens — real moments, real memories.

The soft, natural light outdoors gives your family portraits a warm, timeless feel. I usually recommend scheduling sessions during golden hour — that beautiful time just before sunset — for the most flattering results. However, if your little ones are likely to be too tired at that time, we can absolutely arrange a session earlier in the day that suits your family’s routine. The goal is always to keep things relaxed and enjoyable for everyone.
